Rekha Sharma is an experienced professional with a diverse background in proposal writing, grants management, and research. Currently serving as a Chapter Proposal Writer/Editor for Sierra Club since September 2025, Rekha previously held significant roles including Grants Manager & People Operations at Salient, where $1.5 million in non-dilutive funding was secured, and over $5 million in government and foundation funding was managed for weather and climate analytics advancements. As Research & Grants Manager at Nexgen Precision, industry research projects focused on developing new medical technologies in preventative healthcare. Rekha's earlier experience includes consulting on product development with Newberry Solutions, working as a Government Affairs Intern at Animal Welfare Institute, and serving as a Veterinary Technician at Pacific Wildlife Care.
