Tessine Murji

Tessine Murji is a dedicated conservation organizer at the Sierra Club since January 2020, where significant accomplishments include the establishment of a statewide Federal Action Team, representation at the UN COP 15 conference on biodiversity, and the successful execution of over 400 events resulting in notable climate champion victories. Previous roles include serving as a clean energy organizer advocating for decarbonization policies, and as a political organizer for Congresswomen Marie Newman and Lauren Underwood. Prior experience encompasses journalism as a reporter for Free Spirit Media and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, along with marketing and PR internships at AMC Networks. Tessine holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs with a minor in Journalism and Middle East History from Northeastern University.
