Karl Schmidt

Karl Schmidt currently serves as the Vice President of Oil, Gas & Energy at Sierra Digital, starting in June 2021, where responsibilities include directing product strategy and design, managing Tier 1 customer relationships, defining implementation methodologies, coordinating SAP partner activities, and presenting at SAP conferences on best practices in the industry. Prior to this role, Schmidt held the position of Senior Vice President & COO at Enertia Software from March 1992 to October 2018, overseeing all sales and marketing for upstream oil and gas solutions, delivering detailed software application demonstrations, directing project management and implementation teams, and contributing to the design of Enertia applications while specializing in data conversion and client business process design.
