Ahmed Shawki

Ahmed Shawki is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Sierra Engineering & Manufacturing, where responsibilities include developing new valve designs and quarter turn gearboxes using advanced modeling and validation techniques. Previously, Ahmed served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Flowthermolab and held various engineering roles, including a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer during a maintenance project with HEIDELBERG Cement Group. Additional experience includes design work at Technological and Industrial Development Corp. (TID), community engagement as a 3D Hubs Mayor in Amsterdam, and public relations for the Techne Summit. As Chair of the ASME-Student Section at Zagazig University, Ahmed promoted engineering education and professional development. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design and Production from Zagazig University.
