Manuel Alvarado

Manuel Alvarado is a Community Relations Manager at Sierra Health Foundation, where, since August 2013, efforts have focused on tackling health inequities in the San Joaquin Valley through grant programs. Alvarado played a pivotal role in launching and establishing the Merced offices, enhancing the organization's presence in the region and managing day-to-day operations and events. Previously, from 2002 to 2011, Alvarado served as the Leadership Programs Manager at Great Valley Center. Alvarado holds a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Theatre from California State University, Fresno, earned between 1974 and 1980.
