Shelley Dyer

Managing Director, Local Initiatives at Sierra Health Foundation

Shelley Dyer currently serves as the Managing Director of Local Initiatives at Sierra Health Foundation since October 2021, having also held the position of Senior Program Officer. Prior experience includes roles at TNDC as Quality Assurance Manager and Program Manager from November 2017 to October 2021, and Market Manager & Consultant at FARMS TO GROW INC from August 2017 to August 2019. Shelley previously worked as an English Medium Teacher at Abu Dhabi Education Council from August 2014 to August 2016 and as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Atlanta Public Schools from August 2012 to August 2014. Early career experiences include internships at Southern Education Foundation and the U.S. House of Representatives in 2009 and 2007, respectively. Shelley holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Georgia State University (2011-2013) and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Spelman College (2006-2010).
