Skip Schweiss

Skip Schweiss is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Sierra Investment Management since September 2021. Skip also holds the position of Treasurer at the Committee for the Fiduciary Standard, starting in August 2022.

In their previous work experience, Schweiss worked at TD AMERITRADE from February 2008 to August 2020, where they held various roles including Managing Director of the Retirement Plan Solutions business and President of TD Ameritrade Trust Company. Additionally, they served as the Senior Vice President from February 2008 to January 2010.

Before joining TD AMERITRADE, Schweiss worked at Fiserv Trust Company as EVP/COO from September 2003 to February 2008. Skip also held positions at Fiserv ISS (2005-2008), Fiserv Investment Support Services (2004-2008), Fiserv Investment Support Services (Fortune 500) (2003-2008), Fiserv (1988-2008), and Fiserv Investment Support Services (1988-2008), all in the role of Executive Vice President.

Skip Schweiss obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Dakota in 1984. Skip then pursued further education and received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the University of Colorado Denver in 1993. In 2020, Schweiss obtained a certification as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary from Fi360, a Broadridge company.
