Maykell Quispialaya Bonilla is a highly experienced metallurgical engineer with a strong background in optimizing flotation processes within the mining industry. Currently serving as an Ingeniero Metalurgista at Sierra Metals Inc. since January 2016, Maykell has successfully conducted cyclical and batch metallurgical tests, leading to significant improvements in silver and copper recovery rates. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior Metallurgist at GlencoreXstrata Plc and as a Laboratory Assistant at Sierra Metals Inc., as well as professional internships at Pan American Silver Corp. Maykell holds a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Centro del Peru, earned from 2004 to 2009.
