Matthew Hammes

Matthew Hammes is an accomplished sales professional with a diverse background in the beverage and sports industries. Currently serving as a Senior Distributor Sales Manager at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. since November 2017, Matthew previously held the role of Territory Sales Manager, receiving recognition as the 2021 Territory Sales Manager of the Year. Prior experience includes serving as New York State Craft Brands Manager and Sales Representative at TJ Sheehan Distributing Inc. and Area Sales Manager at A.L. George, LLC. Matthew began the career as an Assistant Manager at Geared 2 Sports/Graph-Tex and gained early experiences through internships at Brotman Winter Fried Communications and the City of Cortland Youth Bureau. Holding an MBA from Ithaca College (2007-2009) and a BS in Sport Management from the same institution (2003-2007), Matthew combines academic knowledge with extensive professional expertise.
