Susan M. Zimmermann

Susan M. Zimmermann has extensive experience in the service and education sectors, currently serving as a Lead Server at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and Star Diner since 2019 and 2020, respectively. In addition, Susan has been a Captain and Event Manager with Blue Ridge Event Staffing since 2012. Previous roles include Project Manager at Blossoms at Biltmore Park and Autism Support Staff for The Autism Society of North Carolina. At the Asheville Jewish Community Center, Susan contributed significantly as a Lead Preschool Teacher and LIT Team Leader, fostering professional-level participation in the Leaders In Training Program. Susan's early career involved facilitating leadership programs as Head Counselor at Ramapo for Children. Academically, Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
