Luke Thompson has extensive experience in aerospace engineering and business operations, currently serving as SVP of Business Operations at Sierra Nevada Corporation since September 2016, with prior roles including Vice President positions in System Design & Development and Engineering & Advanced Development. Additional contributions include advisory board membership for the Aerospace Engineering Department at The University of Kansas, reflecting ongoing engagement in academia. Prior industry experience includes leadership roles at Honeywell Aerospace, Hawker Beechcraft, and Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where Luke Thompson successfully led program management and engineering teams, significantly impacting product development and strategy. Luke Thompson holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas.
