Roy Adams

Roy Adams is a seasoned Principal RF Engineer with over two decades of experience in electrical engineering, currently leading the RF and electrical engineering team at Sierra Nevada Corporation since 2011. Prior to this role, Roy held positions as a Senior RF Engineer within Sierra Nevada Corporation, focusing on a range of electrical engineering projects, including the TALS production and involvement in Broadband Wireless Technologies. Previous experience includes roles at Raytheon, where Roy contributed to microwave integrated circuit testing and packaging design for K band transceivers, and IGT, where circuit card designs were developed for various communication technologies. Early in the career, Roy gained foundational experience at Hytek Microsystems, Inc. and holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah, as well as a Bachelor’s degree with Honors from the University of Nevada, Reno.
