Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as Principal System Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation since June 2020, previously holding the role of Senior System Engineer focused on ELINT Advanced Technologies. Prior experience includes positions as Senior System Engineer at Raytheon from December 2017 to June 2020 and at L-3 Integrated Systems Group from May 2009 to December 2017, as well as earlier roles including RF Engineer Intern at Memtronics and Senior Co-op Hardware Development Engineer at L-3 Communications Integrated Systems. Stephen began a career in technical support at XO Communications and worked as a Front Office Engineer at Ericsson. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, earned between 2003 and 2009, and attended the University of Arkansas from September 1989 to May 1993.
