Mshrm Denise Daquino

Denise Daquino, MSHRM has extensive experience in human resources. Denise is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Sierra Pacific Mortgage Company, Inc. Prior to this, they held the role of VP, Human Resources Business Partner at PennyMac Loan Services, LLC from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for aligning business objectives with management.

Before joining PennyMac, Denise worked as the Director of Human Resources Business Partner at Princess Cruises from 2019 to 2020. Denise supported shoreside businesses located in North America and managed a team of HR Business Partners and Employee Relations.

From 2016 to 2019, Denise served as the Senior Director of Human Resources (VP/Bank Officer) at Opes Advisors, A Division of Flagstar Bank. In this role, they provided leadership, direction, and guidance for the Retail Mortgage Bank Division.

Denise also has experience as the Director of Human Resources at Fremont Bank from 2013 to 2016, where they served as a strategic HR Business Partner to executive management. From 2009 to 2013, Denise worked as a Human Resources Consultant/Contractor/Management.

Earlier in their career, Denise served as the Regional Human Resources Director at BostonCoach from 2004 to 2009, providing senior-level HR expertise nationwide. Denise also worked as the Regional Human Resources Manager at Nexus Integrated Services, Inc. from 1996 to 2004.

Throughout their career, Denise has demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, talent management, change leadership, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Denise Daquino, MSHRM has a strong educational background in Human Resources Management. Denise obtained their Master's of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Capella University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management with a specialization in Human Resources from the same university, studying from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their university education, Denise also holds a Certification in HR Management from California State University, Northridge, which they earned from 1999 to 2002. Furthermore, they obtained a Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Human Resources Institute, where they studied from 1999 to 2008.

Denise has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their expertise in the field. Denise obtained a certification as an HR Consultant from the Josh Bersin Academy in August 2021. In July 2021, Denise obtained a certification as a Strategic HR Business Partner from the same institution. Denise also holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, which they obtained in May 2021. Lastly, Denise became an Extended DISC Certified Trainer in January 2015, receiving training from Extended DISC North America, Inc.
