Dylan Brown is a Senior Structural Engineer at Sierra Space, with extensive experience in structural engineering spanning over a decade. At Sierra Space, Dylan has been involved since June 2021, previously serving as a Senior Structural Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation from July 2017 to June 2021, where Dylan acted as the technical lead for the un-crewed Dream Chaser pressurized cargo support structure. Prior to that role, Dylan contributed as a Structural Engineer III at Sierra Nevada Corporation, focusing on the Dream Chaser program, and held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at United Launch Alliance from July 2009 to June 2017, where Dylan worked on the Launch Vehicle Adapter for the CST-100 Starliner and other significant projects. Dylan began professional experience as a Production Engineer Intern at United Launch Alliance and held an internship as a Design Engineer at HUSCO International. Dylan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
