James Matti

James Matti currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Contracts at Sierra Space Corporation, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this role, James was the Director of Contracts for Sierra Nevada Corporation from April 2019 to June 2021. James has extensive experience in contract management, having worked as a Business Area Manager of Contracts and Government Systems Manager of Subcontracts at Viasat Inc. from December 2016 to March 2019, as well as holding roles such as Operating Unit Manager of Subcontracts and Senior Contracts Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation between May 2010 and December 2016. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Oregon School of Law and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature, and Philosophy from the University of San Diego.
