Justin Discar

Justin Discar is a System Engineer III at Sierra Space since June 2022, previously serving as a Principal Systems Engineer at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from May 2017 to June 2022, where responsibilities included leading the project lifecycle for the Over Water Littoral Identification (OWLI) system. Prior experience includes working as a Research Associate in the DNA Nanotechnology Laboratory at the University of California San Diego, focusing on the design of DNA structures for drug delivery systems, and roles as an EHS Personal Protective Equipment Assistant and STEM Tutor. Justin Discar earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nanoengineering from UC San Diego from 2013 to 2016.
