Kasey Hixson

Kasey Hixson serves as the Director of Engineering for Software Product Development at Sierra Space, leading a team focused on delivering mission-critical software for spacecraft flight systems and national security missions. With extensive experience in software engineering and systems integration, Kasey has previously held roles such as Software Test, Integration, and Labs Lead, and Spacecraft Hardware Software Integration Lead at Sierra Space, where responsibilities included team expansion, technical leadership, and collaboration with NASA. Kasey has also worked at GE Aerospace in various engineering management and systems engineering roles, contributing to aircraft systems and maintenance solutions, and holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Central Michigan University.
