Lauren Howell

Lauren Howell is a Senior Systems Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation, with extensive experience in systems engineering at Northrop Grumman, where roles ranged from Systems Engineer to Senior Principal Systems Engineer from October 2015 to October 2021. Prior to that, Lauren served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Colorado School of Mines, developing numerical methods in MATLAB and FORTRAN for various geophysical applications. Earlier experience includes work as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University and a Physical Science Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey. Lauren holds a Master's degree in Mathematical & Computer Sciences from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Carleton College.
