Zachary Kimball

Zachary Kimball is a Structural Analysis Engineer III at Sierra Space, where responsibilities include utilizing finite element and stress analysis techniques for the design and testing of reaction control thrusters for the Dream Chaser spaceplane. Prior experience includes a role as a Stress Analysis Co-op at Sierra Nevada Corporation, where contributions involved analyzing space system components and improving project efficiency. Zachary also participated in the WI Space Race as a General Member focused on structural analysis and led the Analysis Team at Badgerloop, performing analyses on hyperloop pod components. An internship at Oshkosh Corporation provided hands-on experience with finite element simulations and collaboration with design teams. Zachary holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
