Dr Nancy Hurtado-Ziola

Dr. Nancy Hurtado-Ziola is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in infection prevention and biomedical research. Currently serving as the Infection Prevention Manager at Sierra View Medical Center since August 2021, Dr. Hurtado-Ziola also holds the position of IMSD Program Associate Director/Research Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico since August 2014. Previous experience includes serving as Adjunct Faculty at El Camino College from August 2013 to May 2014, and as a Consultant and Cell Glycobiologist from September 2012 to May 2014. Dr. Hurtado-Ziola was the Treasurer for SACNAS from 2011 to 2013 and worked as a Senior Scientist at Sialix Inc from January 2008 to September 2012. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego School of Medicine (2001-2007) and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from California State University, Fullerton.
