Amaru Korpimaki (He/Him)

Amaru Korpimaki is a software engineer currently employed at Sievo since May 2023, following a role as a software developer trainee at Posti Group Oyj from July 2022 to January 2023. During the traineeship, Korpimaki contributed to the Design System team by developing web components using React, Typescript, and Storybook, whilst translating business requirements into actionable tasks. Prior experience also includes roles as a bar back at Kuudeslinja Oy and a coding tutor at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, where Korpimaki taught JavaScript fundamentals. Educational background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Technology from Haaga-Helia University, while previously earning degrees in computer science from Universidad de Chile and nursing from Universidad Diego Portales.
