Aaron Monson has extensive work experience as a designer and UX professional. Aaron is currently working as a Lead Product Designer at Sifflet since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Dataiku as a Sr. UX Designer from 2021 to 2022. From 2014 to 2021, Aaron worked at Microsoft, where they held various roles such as Sr. Designer and Interaction Designer II. At Microsoft, they played a key role in designing and launching a new AI product called AI Builder and worked on multiple Windows 10 media apps.
Before joining Microsoft, Aaron worked as a Senior Manager, UX Design at American Express from 2012 to 2014, where they led the UX design for AmEx OPEN Forum, an online platform for small businesses. Aaron also has experience working at Annie Leibovitz Studio as a Senior Designer and at Modern IDENTITY as a Designer, where they led various design projects for nonprofit and small businesses.
In addition to their professional experience, Aaron also worked as an Exhibition Designer at BYU Harold B. Lee Library from 2006 to 2008, where they designed and constructed exhibitions in the Special Collections and worked on exhibition advertising and marketing. Aaron Monson attended Brigham Young University from 2002 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology. In 2013, they also completed a program in Front End Web Development at General Assembly, focusing on computer programming.
