Dave Williams

Dave Williams is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in hardware design and development. Currently a Senior Staff Engineer at SiFive since August 2022, Dave previously held the position of Principal Hardware Design Engineer at Imagination Technologies, where the focus was on ASIC design for PowerVR graphics cores. With a career spanning over three decades, Dave's expertise includes roles at NVIDIA as a Silicon Logical Design Engineer, and at THALES ALENIA SPACE and Systems Engineering and Assessment Ltd as a Principal FPGA/Digital Design Engineer. Additional experience encompasses positions at Capita Secure Information Solutions, Powerwave, ATL Telecom, and GEC Electrical Projects, showcasing a strong foundation in digital circuit design, FPGA coding, and embedded systems. Dave holds a B.Sc. Hons in Electronics Engineering from the University of York.
