Henry Cook has over 17 years of experience in the field of computer science, primarily focusing on hardware architectures and design. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at SiFive since May 2016, Henry has previously held positions as a Principal Engineer and Design Engineer within the same company. Prior to this, Henry conducted research as a PhD candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at UC Berkeley from June 2007 to May 2016, specializing in chip multiprocessor memory hierarchy architectures and power-aware design. Earlier experience includes a research internship at NVIDIA and work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, contributing to projects on benchmarking and design optimization. Henry holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
