Ivo Costa

Ivo Costa is a highly experienced Staff Engineer in Embedded Software at SiFive since September 2022, with a strong background in firmware development for Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and ARM Cortex-M3 architectures. Previous roles include Embedded Software Engineer at Oticon Medical, where Ivo focused on DSP firmware development, and Embedded Firmware Engineer for Oticon Medical at Elsys Design. Earlier experience encompasses consulting for Amadeus IT Group SA at Astek Sud Est, contributing to the Fare Server product, and working as a researcher at LSA/ISEP on robotics and autonomous systems, alongside developments of hardware and modular embedded systems. Ivo holds a Master's degree in Autonomous Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto.
