Nicholas Bowman is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and academic sectors. Currently employed at Sift since September 2025, Nicholas previously worked as a Flight Software Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from September 2021 to August 2025, where significant contributions included the development of embedded flight software for the SBG-VSWIR instrument and integrating code coverage metrics into CI pipelines. Prior roles at Stanford University encompassed research on environmental impact in aviation, as well as teaching and managing introductory computer science courses, along with various programming and research internships at NASA and Microsoft.
