Steven Gilcreast

Steven Gilcreast currently serves as the Director of Training and Defense Pistol Product Manager at SIG SAUER, Inc., where Steven has been employed since August 2018, also holding the position of Product Manager for Pistols. Since January 2009, Steven has been affiliated with SIG SAUER Academy as a Senior Instructor and Training Manager, contributing to the institution recognized for firearms training and instructor development. Previously, Steven was an instructor at Checkmate Self Defense from 2004 to May 2024 and served as a police officer and training officer with the Manchester NH Police Department from July 2000 to January 2014. Additional experience includes firearms training and defensive tactics at Certain Victory Firearms Training, LLC, and military service as an Infantry Squad Leader in the US Army from August 1991 to August 1999. Steven holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and two Associate Degrees in General Studies and Criminal Justice from UNH Manchester and Mount Washington College, respectively.
