Erik Balod

Erik Balod currently serves as the Regional Director of Global Defense Sales for Europe at SIG SAUER, Inc., since February 2024. Previously, Erik was the Chief Business Development Officer at MW Group, a modern Nordic defense and security service provider, from March 2021 to February 2024. Between 2017 and 2021, Erik held multiple roles at 4C Strategies, including Acting Segment Sales Manager Military and Government Relations & Affairs Manager, focusing on risk management solutions for various sectors. Additionally, Erik served as Secretary-General and Board Member at the Swedish Atlantic Council from December 2016 to December 2020, contributing to discussions around Swedish security policy. Prior experiences include positions as Partner & Consultant at Efficient Management Nordic AB and Project Coordinator at Säkerhets- och försvarsföretagen (SOFF). Erik holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus on Security Policy from Försvarshögskolan - Swedish Defence University.
