Emily Blum

Director, Clinical Development at SIGA Technologies

Emily Blum has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of regulatory affairs and clinical research. Emily started their career at Portland Community College as an Emergency Medicine Teaching Assistant from 2008 to 2009. Emily then joined Oregon Health and Science University where they held various roles, including Senior Research Assistant from 2005 to 2011, Research Associate from 2012 to 2019, Regulatory Coordinator from 2019 to 2019, and Regulatory Project Manager from 2019 to 2020.

In 2020, Emily joined Worldwide Clinical Trials as a Senior Specialist, specializing in Site Activation and Regulatory Affairs. In 2021, they moved to ERGOMED PLC as a Regulatory Affairs Manager. In both roles, they provided regulatory and ethical advice, managed regulatory submissions, and ensured effective communication with clients.

Currently, Emily is working at SIGA Technologies as a Regulatory Affairs Manager and Associate Director of Clinical Research, demonstrating their increasing responsibility and expertise in the field.

Emily Blum attended the University of Oregon from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Business Administration.
