Lionel Bertaux

Lionel Bertaux has extensive experience in the field of network performance and support, currently serving as an SRE at Sigfox since January 2015, where responsibilities include ensuring the availability and performance of the Sigfox network. Previous roles at Sigfox encompassed responsibilities as a Cognitive Monitoring Engineer and Support Engineer L2, focusing on data analysis, customer support for IoT applications, and network monitoring. Prior to Sigfox, Lionel gained research experience at LAAS-CNRS, undertaking studies on satellite communications and transport protocol performances while completing a PhD in Communication Networks from Ecole Doctorale Systemes. Additional academic contributions include lecturing at Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier in various informatics subjects.
