Data Scientist at Sight Machine

Alexandria Pawlik has six years of work experience. Alexandria began their career in 2018 as Head of Operations at Blockchain at Michigan, where they organized and managed club resources, website, and membership. Alexandria also developed Blockchain educational curriculum for the 2020 cohorts and facilitated Blockchain application, education, and outreach. In 2019, Pawlik worked as an Innovations Summer Intern at AF-Group, completing a proof-of-concept for the use of a private Ethereum blockchain in internal file tracing and supporting preliminary research for a blockchain application involving a consortium of insurance providers and the National Insurance Crime Bureau. In 2020, Pawlik worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, assisting graduate students with research as a part of the Computer Age Statistical Inference group within the University of Michigan Department of Statistics. Alexandria also worked as a Summer Fellow at the Environmental Data Initiative (EDI), participating in data management and preservation training and assisting University of Michigan Biological Station (UMBS) researchers and students with data management best practices. In 2021, Pawlik worked at the University of Michigan as a Departmental Ambassador, facilitating weekly discussion sections for 10-20 students in ENGR 110 (Design Your Engineering Experience). Alexandria also worked as an Assistant Data Manager, assisting UMBS students and researchers with effective data management and documentation. Currently, Pawlik is working as a Data Scientist at Sight Machine.

Alexandria Pawlik attended Wylie E. Groves High School from 2014 to 2018, where they earned their High School Diploma. Alexandria then continued their education at the University of Michigan, where they graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering - BSE in Data Science.
