Katherine OSORIO MURILLO

Katherine OSORIO MURILLO has worked in the software engineering industry since 2016. In 2016, they were an intern at ALUR3 where they developed web applications using Python and Django framework, JavaScript, CSS, HTML programming, and developed a web application to manage a SVN repository. In 2017, they began working at Continental as a Backend Software Engineer and Scrum Master. In this role, they were responsible for onboarding and mentoring newcomers on backend technologies, leading a multisite backend team spread across four locations, and collaborating with other software developers and architects to plan, design, develop, and test the product components. Additionally, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer and Scrum Master, developing software in C within a specific microcontroller and learning more about Golang and Java languages and HTTP, GRPC, etc. In 2022, they began working at SightCall as a Software Engineer. Her role includes the analysis and modifications of existing software, as well as designing, constructing, and testing end-user applications that meet user needs using Ruby on Rails for Back-end and Ember.js for Front-end.

Katherine OSORIO MURILLO has a diverse educational background. Katherine began their studies in 2011 at Universidad de Antioquia, where they earned their degree in Ingeniería Electrónica with a focus in Génie Électronique. In 2015, they began their studies at l'INSA Centre Val de Loire and obtained their Industrial Systems Engineer degree in 2017, with a focus in Automated systems, instrumentation and industrial computing. In 2016, they also obtained their Master MARS from Université d'Orléans, with a focus in Ingeniería electrónica, robótica y mecatrónica. In December 2020, they obtained their Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
