Ed Caufield

Ed Caufield has over 28 years of experience in Information Technology. Ed began their career in 1992 as the Executive Director of IT for Novartis, where they developed strategic solutions adopted at a global level and built out and led the North American SAP/ERP Center of Excellence (Applications & Basis Ops). In 2006, they became the Information Technology Director at Genentech - Roche, where they led the ERP COE team of domestic and offshore engineers with a $10M budget supporting enterprise applications. Ed then joined Technology Partners International in 2008 as the Director of CIO Services, where they led multi-disciplinary teams that customized and implemented solutions for IT offshoring and outsourcing. In 2009, they joined Capgemini Consulting as the Regional Life Science Technology Lead, where they served as the Life Science SME for the West Coast region, supporting complex engagements for strategy and industry related systems implementations. In 2020, they became a CIO Consultant at CIO Professional Services LLC, and in 2021 they joined SightGlass Vision, Inc. as the Vice President of Information Technology, where they are currently building out the Global IT Services to support medical device product launches and R&D activities along with business operation functions.

Ed Caufield has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. Ed also has a Certificate of Completion from Harvard Business School in Finance for Non-Financial Leaders, as well as Executive Certificates from Penn State University in Leading with Impact and Managerial Effectiveness.
