Rob Patton

Rob Patton has a wealth of experience in the field of Information Technology. Rob currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology at Sighthound, Inc., where they are responsible for budgeting and managing all IT-related items in the company. Rob also works closely with the CTO to design and build products sold by the company, as well as proof of concept devices for testing. In addition, Rob manages the assembly and shipment of devices sold by the company.

Prior to their current role, Rob was the Owner of RobPattonDotCom, Inc., where they provided general IT consulting services, including backup power solutions, data backup and archival, and disaster plan preparedness. Rob also offered physical and video security solutions.

Rob's previous experience includes working as an Asset Investigator at the Law Office of Lori Patton and holding various roles at Aspect Software, including Senior Manager of Infrastructure Cloud Services and Director of Data Center Management, IT, and Tech facilities.

Rob was also a Co-Founder and held several director roles at Voxeo, including Director of Data Center Management, Director of IT, and Director of Tech facilities.

Additionally, Rob has worked as an IT Director at Mediagate, Co-Founder and Director of Hardware Development and IT at IRdg, a Programmer at the Lake County Sheriff's Office, an Information Technology Specialist at Intel-I-Comp, and a Systems Tech at Prosoft Development.

Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated expertise in areas such as virtualization, storage, DC facilities and logistics, voice engineering, telephony provisioning, power and cooling, network operations center (NOC) operation, and hardware and software procurement. Rob has also excelled in team management, scheduling, root cause analysis, incident handling, and goal achievement.

Rob Patton began their education at Lyman High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 1983 to 1986. After completing high school, they attended Seminole State College of Florida from 1987 to 1989, where they pursued studies in Computer Science and Criminal Justice.

In addition to their formal education, Rob has obtained several certifications. In June 2021, they completed the "Learning Docker" and "Learning FreeNAS" certifications through LinkedIn. Rob also obtained the "IPVM Video Analytics" certification from IPVM in May 2021. Furthermore, Rob has planned to advance their knowledge and skills by pursuing the "Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate" and "Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional" certifications from Cradlepoint, which they are expected to obtain in January 2023.
