Shivani Majmudar is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in healthcare advocacy, research, and communication. As the Newsletter Chair for the Women In Medicine Summit since March 2021, Shivani leads media relations and serves as the primary writer/editor for various publications. Currently, as a Global Health Research Assistant at SightLife, work focuses on developing initiatives to prevent corneal blindness. Shivani also founded and served as President of the American Medical Women's Association at UIC, promoting empowerment among aspiring healthcare providers. Additionally, experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and tutoring for Kaplan Test Prep. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine degree in progress at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a Master's of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
