Caroline Harper has had an extensive work experience in various organizations. Caroline served as the Chief Executive of Sightsavers International from 2005, and is currently the Chair of the International Civil Society Centre since 2021. Caroline also worked as a Trustee at the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) from 2005. Prior to these roles, they were a Non-Executive Director at Notting Hill Housing Trust from 2004 until 2010. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Chief Executive at Amerada Hess Gas from 1992 until 2002.
Caroline Harper obtained a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol from 1978 to 1981. Caroline then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy Studies at the University of Cambridge from 1981 to 1985.
