Sony Varghese

Sony Varghese is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial systems and projects. Currently serving as Head of Finance Systems & Projects at Sightsavers since October 2020, Sony previously held roles such as Finance Systems & Projects Manager and Finance Systems & Projects Analyst. Prior to Sightsavers, Sony worked as a Senior EPM Consultant at Intellicore Consulting Group for a brief time and as a Financial Systems Analyst at Abu Dhabi University, where responsibilities included managing ERP modules and coordinating offshore teams. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Hyperion Consultant at FUJITSU and Functional Lead for Hyperion Planning & Budgeting at GTS, demonstrating strong skills in financial reporting and forecasting. Sony holds an MBA in Finance from Fr C Rodrigues Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor of Science from St. Xavier's College.
