Stella Nakabugo Mirembe

Stella Nakabugo Mirembe is an accomplished data professional with extensive experience in data management and analytics within healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Data Systems Officer at Sightsavers since September 2022, Stella previously worked as a Data Manager at Mengo Hospital, where responsibilities included streamlining data collection, managing budgets, and creating visual dashboards for performance tracking. Additional experience includes data management roles at the Infectious Diseases Institute, where operations and data requests were overseen, and earlier positions focused on IT and health data quality assessments with i-Train and Evaluate Center and MEASURE Evaluation. Stella began a career in fundraising for the Norwegian Red Cross, identifying and promoting best practices. Stella holds a Master's degree in System Dynamics from the University of Bergen.
