Cristina Alonso

Cristina Alonso's work experience begins in 2017 when they worked as a Reception's assistant at Hotel Wellington. In 2018, they served as an Editor/Translator DE>ES at Ernst Klett Sprachen GmbH. The following year, they worked as a Customer Service Specialist at InterMundial. In 2020, they took on the roles of an English Teacher and a Translator and Project Manager at ALWAYS SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES. Currently, they are working at Sigma AI as a Project Manager, focusing on data analysis for AI training, computational linguistics, and team leading.

Cristina Alonso's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages, Culture, and Communication (with a focus on English and German) from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, completed from 2015 to 2019. Cristina also pursued a one-year program in Applied Linguistics, specifically in Language Interpretation and Translation, at The University of Bonn from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, they enrolled in a Postgraduate Course in Modern Greek at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, lasting until 2020. Following that, from 2020 to 2021, Cristina pursued a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Translation, specializing in Localization, Subtitling, and Dubbing, at ISTRAD - Instituto Superior de Estudios Lingüísticos y Traducción. Currently, they are working towards a Master's degree in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., with an expected completion date in 2024.
