George Bleazard has a extensive work experience in the field of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). George has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Currently, they are the President of EHS Excellence, LLC since October 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Corporate Director of EHS, Security, Transportation Compliance, and Product Safety at Sigma Aldrich Corporation, where they had global oversight of 78 sites in 37 countries. Before that, they were the Director of EHS for Sigma Chemical Company, responsible for the EHS and security of 10 sites in the St. Louis area. George also worked as a Navy Occupational Safety and Health Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1987-1998. In addition, they have held positions as a Safety Director at Pfizer, Safety Manager at Hoechst Celenese, Supervisor of Safety at Monsanto, and as an Industrial Hygienist at St. Louis County Health Department.
George Bleazard has an education history that includes an M.S. in Safety Management from the University of Central Missouri, obtained in 1986. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Industrial Hygiene from the same institution, graduating in 1984. In 1977, Bleazard attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City, studying Pre-Dental. In addition to their degrees, Bleazard has obtained certifications as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) in December 2014.
