Cesar Montemayor

Cesar Montemayor currently serves as CFO of Sigma Europe within Campofrío Food Group since August 2023. Previously, Montemayor held various leadership roles at Sigma Alimentos from September 2013 to February 2025, including CFO & CSCO for Mexico, CEO for Latin America, and Regional Director (VP). A key achievement during this period was the revitalization of Sigma’s US $200 million operation in Central America, overseeing six plants and 2,000 employees across multiple countries. Montemayor's earlier experience includes general management positions at Comercializadora de Embutidos ICO and Productos Carnicos de Occidente, as well as a role as Senior Business Development Manager at Sigma Alimentos. Montemayor began his career in strategic planning and procurement at Petrocel Temex. Montemayor holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, earned between 2001 and 2003.
