Bill Van Hout has over 27 years of work experience in the technology industry. Bill began their career in 1994 as a Senior Consultant at Keane. In 1997, they moved to Microstrategy as a District Presales Manager, where they were responsible for presales consulting for the Southeast U.S. In 2001, they became a Technology Specialist at Eclipsys Corp., responsible for all pre-sales technical sales for their Sunrise family of in-patient products. In 2005, they moved to Quilogy as a Managing Consultant. In 2006, Quilogy was acquired by Aspect Software, and they became Practice Director of the National Healthcare Practice, leading sales and marketing efforts. In 2010, they moved to Allscripts as a Solutions Architect, responsible for all technology aspects of pre-sales for all Allscripts products. In 2012, they moved to Informatica as a Senior Presales Manager and Healthcare Solutions Architect. In 2020, they moved to Snowflake as a Regional Sales Engineering Manager. Most recently, they began work in 2022 as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Sigma Computing.
Bill Van Hout's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 1994. Before this, they attended Lassiter High School. Bill does not have any additional certifications.
