William Steel

William Steel is an accomplished photographic host at Pangolin Photo Safaris since April 2022 and serves as the owner and founder of The South African Photographer of the Year as well as William Steel Photography since December 2010. With significant experience as a Sigma Ambassador in South Africa and a tour leader at ORYX Photo Tours, William has also held the position of Photographer and Head of Stills at the Natural History Film Unit in Botswana. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Travel Services Management, both from the University of East Anglia.
