Andreea Stancescu

Andreea Stancescu is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in the energy and marine sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Sigma Energy & Marine since April 2022, assignments include supporting development projects for Aker Solutions AS on the Skarv FPSO for Aker BP. Prior to this role, Stancescu worked at Nevita AB, focusing on leading upgrades at the Nynäs bitumen production facility. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Process/Development Engineer at Genesis Energies, a Process Engineer at Borealis, as well as various engineering roles at OMV Petrom, where two major redevelopment projects were executed. Early career stages involved research at ICECHIM and internships at JTI and Petrom. Stancescu holds a Master of Science in Chemical Processes Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
