Miranda Abbott

Miranda Abbott is a Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently employed at Affinity Skilled Living & Rehabilitation Center and Sigma Health Rehab, Miranda has been providing per diem speech therapy services. Previously, at Revhab, responsibilities included planning and implementing rehabilitative treatments for individuals with communication and swallowing deficits within an Assisted Living Facility, managing a daily caseload of 12 patients. Prior clinical roles included work in an elementary school with students facing speech and language disorders and inpatient rehabilitation for brain injury patients at Glen Cove Hospital. Miranda holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Queens College and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre: Performance and Arts Administration from Wagner College. Additional experience encompasses roles as a dance teacher and production manager for the Huntington Arts Council, highlighting a diverse skill set in both clinical and creative environments.
