Blake Gurney is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Chapter Operations for Sigma Phi Epsilon since June 2021, where responsibilities include coaching a team of consultants overseeing 88 chapter accounts across 22 states and designing a comprehensive training program for new employees. Previously, Blake held various roles within Sigma Phi Epsilon, including Regional Director and Volunteer Specialist, providing leadership to chapters in the Midwest. Prior to that, Blake worked as an Accessioner at Incyte Diagnostics during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring the accurate processing of tests, and gained additional experience in construction labor, university ambassadorial duties, and seasonal maintenance roles. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Washington State University, completed in 2021.

The story of its founding by 12 determined men set the stage for the growth and success of one of the country’s premier fraternal organizations. The history of the Fraternity reflects the times, through great wars and profound cultural shifts. Throughout the decades, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon have practiced their values and embraced the stated desire of the Founders, “This Fraternity will be different.”
