Roland Fryer

Roland Fryer has extensive work experience, starting in 2003 as a Professor of Economics at Harvard University. In 2019, they founded Equal Opportunity Ventures, followed by co-founding Reconstruction US in 2020, where they serve as the Executive Chairman. In 2021, Roland founded SigmaSquared and also became a board member for Rethinc. Roland joined KaiPod Learning as a board member in 2022 and became a board member for Fresh Food Generation and EdLight, PBC in 2020. Additionally, they have been a board member for Robinhood Foundation since 2014. At Readlee, Roland served as a board member from April 2022 to December 2022.

Roland Fryer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington from 1995 to 1998. Roland then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Economics from Penn State University, which they completed from 1998 to 2001.
