Chris Beaman, CAE, CFRE, currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships at Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, a role held since October 2021, responsible for defining and executing strategic priorities in collaboration with organizational leadership. Prior to this, Chris worked at Kappa Delta Pi in various leadership roles, including Chief Communications & Partnerships Officer and Director of Advancement & Communications, focusing on marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies. Chris also has experience as an Outreach Coordinator at East Tenth United Methodist Children & Youth Center and as a Sales Associate at Gordon Food Service. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Butler University, earned in 2012.

Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) – In 1922 six nurses founded Sigma at the Indiana University Training School for Nurses, now the Indiana University School of Nursing, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. The founders chose the name from the Greek words Storgé, Tharsos, and Timé meaning "love," "courage," and "honor." Sigma became incorporated in 1985 as Sigma Theta Tau International Inc., a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)(3) tax status in the United States.
