Christen Haskins serves as a Nurse Manager and Administrative Supervisor at Crouse Health since November 2018, overseeing nursing activities to ensure safe and effective patient care. In addition to this role, Christen is a Fellow at the Foundation of the International Academy of Addictions Nursing and has been President of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing since June 2017. Previous positions include Nursing Supervisor at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Director of Nursing at Tully Hill Corporation. Christen is actively involved in nursing leadership and policy development, particularly related to addiction treatment and nursing practices. Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) – In 1922 six nurses founded Sigma at the Indiana University Training School for Nurses, now the Indiana University School of Nursing, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. The founders chose the name from the Greek words Storgé, Tharsos, and Timé meaning "love," "courage," and "honor." Sigma became incorporated in 1985 as Sigma Theta Tau International Inc., a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)(3) tax status in the United States.
